How do I pay?

Most of our items are made to order so we do not have a shopping cart on our web site, this way we can keep control of our orders, we wouldn’t like you to go and order and pay for a bouquet from us and then find that we are unable to complete your order in time for your wedding date. Once your order has been confirmed by both parties we will issue you an Invoice by email. Payments can be paid by:- Cheque made payable to Brides Dreams (7 days clearance) Online banking transfer (details sent on request) 4 days clearance Postal orders We are sorry but we do not take payments by credit or debit cards.

Postage charges

Making sure your delivery gets to you is important, so we use the Royal Mail first class service, or for larger value items we use an excellent courier service. A signature is required on all parcels. If you were not at home when the postman/courier tried to deliver, they will always leave a calling card for you to rearrange delivery, or you can call at your local sorting office to collect in person for items that have been sent by the Royal Mail. We deliver to any where within the UK and can be sent to your home, work place or your parents address which ever is best for you.

Are your flowers real?

No they just look real, because we use good quality artificial flowers through out our work. In most cases you would be tempted to smell them as they look so real. Faux or artificial flowers and foliage are commonly referred to as “Silk” please note because artificial flowers and foliage are not always made of silk. However we do try to purchase realistic and good quality flowers from our suppliers and make our designs from a number of different types of materials, therefore while the flowers we use are traditionally called “silk” flowers they may not actually be made from silk.

Who should I buy buttonholes for???

Traditionally the groom, best man, father of the bride, father of the groom, ushers and page boys all need buttonholes. Mothers are usually provided with a corsage to co-ordinate with their outfit. It’s a nice thought to provide a buttonhole for anyone playing an important role at the wedding, such as singing or reading. Grandparents always seem to appreciate a buttonhole as many of them come from a generation where all the guests would be provided with one. Buttonholes are not required for anyone wearing a military uniform. It also depends on your budget and what you would like.

Flower samples

We have now stopped sending out free flower samples due to the fact that we are a budget web site and it was costing us a lot of money. We now advise that you buy a buttonhole this way you can check the quality of the flower and the shade.

How far in advance do I need to order my flowers?

We don’t take bookings months in advance, this is due to us having a small storage area and we are limited in the stock that we carry. If you see a bouquet/posy that you like it is best to order all your flowers from us in one go. Once your order has been confirmed and paid for in full, we start to make your order for you. We always give you a delivery expected date.

How do I look after my flowers?

The beauty of our flowers being artificial they can be ordered well in advance. The best way to store your flowers once they have been received, cover them well with acid free tissue paper and away from sunlight and strong smells. This way they will look a new as the day you bought them from us.
